Coventry Middle School students, Alyse Adams, Victoria Matson, Jaret Skaggs, and Andrew Wilborn were awarded the distinguished honor of presenting a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery on their recent 8thgrade class trip to Washington D.C.. In order to be selected as a wreath presenter, students had to be nominated by their 8thgrade teachers and submit a 3-5 minute Flip-Video presentation that explained:
o What The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier is,
o What it means to our country,
o What it meant to them.
Out of twenty-one 8thgraders nominated, a selection committee chose four. Alyse, Victoria, Jaret, and Andrew did an outstanding job presenting Coventry Middle School’s wreath. Coventry Middle School and the entire Coventry community are proud of their efforts.
