Children are constantly moving toward their future, and it is the role of Coventry Local Schools to develop the potential within each child. Who knows how high Coventry students will soar!
Our student body consists of approximately 2,400 students in grades PreK- 12. We take pride in knowing and nurturing each student to their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are committed to providing our students with a quality instructional program, a balanced curriculum, and a caring environment. Our staff members are excited about teaching and learning and strive to develop within each student the 21st-century skills needed to fulfill their potential.
It is our goal to help our students discover the paths to their futures!
We have 5 school buildings in our district: Turkeyfoot Elementary (grades pre K-2), Lakeview Elementary (grades 3-4), Erwine Middle School (grades 5-7), Coventry Junior High (grades 8-9), and Coventry High School (grades 10-12).
Our schools are surrounded by beautiful lakes, rich wildlife, and scenic state parks. We are located in the heart of the Portage Lakes area in southern Summit County Ohio.
In the CLS community, people come together to demonstrate the power and promise of local involvement. Organizations such as the PTA, Coventry Foundation, and local businesses are committed to giving back to their community. Our schools have benefited from their donation of time, talent and resources.

Dear Superintendent:

Congratulations on your 2009-2010 Excellent with Distinction district designation! The State Board of Education will recognize this wonderful achievement with a 2’ x 3’ vinyl banner to display in your district. The banner will be produced in three weeks. Your State Board member may contact you directly about personally delivering the banner to your district. Otherwise, the banner will be mailed to your district. If you wish to invite a State Board member to formally present the banner to your district at a local event such as, but not limited to, a local school board meeting, school assembly, football game or community meeting, please respond to this e-mail. We will forward your request for a presentation to the appropriate State Board member, who will contact you directly about details.
To immediately recognize your achievement, you will find an attachment of a banner graphic for use on your district website or in publications and other materials
