Before enrolling children that are referred - children will go through a screening and, if warranted, a specialized evaluation. In addition, "child find" activities such as, play-based and group screeenings, conducted to locate children in the community who have developmental concerns. The Summit ESC follows all processes and procedures outlined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA).
