Congratulations to the Coventry Comet Wrestling team for winning the Portage Trail Metro Conference Championship. This is the first championship for the Comets in the PTC. The grapplers accomplished this feat by finishing the regular season 7-0 and finishing second in the conference at the league tournament.
The Comet Wrestling team won the sectional championship held at North Canton High School.
Comet 135lb wrestler Randy Henline competed in Columbus at the state Wrestling Tournament finishing 5th in Division II. Randy is a two time state placer as a junior.
