Builders Club is a "student-led" community service organization that draws its members from the student body.  Students will be involved in activities that promote leadership in the school and community.  Students will have the opportunity to perform service, build character, and develop leadership skills.

Game Club is an organization devoted to bringing game players together.  These can be board games (chess), card games, and video games.  A gaming club will provide space (rooms, tables, some gaming equipment) and thus create a place where gamers can interact, learn and play games, meet and relax.

 Each year Spirit Club works to promote school spirit and plan activities to enhance student involvement.  Spirit Club sponsors various spirit weeks throughout the year, is the driving force behind the two school dances, and supports all athletics by attending the games and cheering the Comets to victory!   Spirit Club meets on Tuesdays after school.

Student Council is a student body working together to better their school and home environment.  They concentrate in three main areas:  school activities, community service and developing individual leadership skills.  The council meets on Monday after school from 2:30 - 3:30 to discuss activities and schedule events.  They meet on Tuesday morning during homeroom to recap for homeroom representatives and any other member who missed the meeting the night before.  Council attends leadership workshops four times throughout the year and the state conference in the spring.

BOOK CLUB

Coventry Junior High students who enjoy reading common books are beginning a Book Club on Wednesdays in the Media Center after school until 3:30.  Please see Mrs. Pfaff in the Media Center for a permission slip and additional information
