I graduated from the University of Akron in 1991 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, (Pre-K, 1-8). I received a Kindergarten Certification in 1999 from the University of Akron, as well. In 2006, I received my Masters in Administration from Kent State University.
I started my teaching career as a substitute teacher in Barberton City Schools in 1991. Then, I took a break to stay home for 6 years to raise my boys. When I went back into teaching, I became a Title I tutor for Akron Public Schools from 1998-2000. Since then, I have been teaching in Coventry for 9 years.
Throughout all of my career, I have taught pre-school, kindergarten, first grade, 3/4 multi-age, fifth grade, and I'm presently teaching fourth grade for the third year.
I live in Uniontown with my husband, Shawn, and our 2 great boys, Rion 16, and Conor, 15, and our cat, Tigger.
