Coventry Local Schools



The Coventry Local School District's Educational Technology Department provides leadership and support services to educators who are improving student achievement through the infusion of technology into the district's standards-based curriculum. Instruction is varied and dynamic, reflecting the diversity of student needs in the schools. The focus is on learning with information and technology, rather than learning about technology.

Technology is used to enhance and support teaching while helping students develop digital literacy through using technology tools to meet state content standards and learn 21st century skills.

2017-18 Highlights

  • Rollout of our new website at www.coventryschools.org
  • Supported technology equipment for 3,035 online Ohio State Tests for grades 3-12
  • Supported equipment and access for HS Distance Learning students
  • Addition of 60 Chromebooks @ CMS 
  • 500+ Technology Work Orders completed
  • Installation of 6 interior cameras at CMS and a Fob Door Security System at CES
  • Google In-service Training for teachers

2018-19 Future Plans

=       Windows 10 Update- all PC equipment

=       Bus Camera Video Surveillance system (potential)

=       Chromebook purchase CES (pending grant funding)


The Technology Department is available to:
• Assist with the implementation of technology into core academic subjects.
• Answer questions and provide ideas to improve instruction through technology.
• Provide assistance to help Special Education students and challenge gifted students.
