Erwine Intermediate is feverishly gearing up for this years round of Statewide Achievement tests, the OAA’s. Students have been taking Short Cycle Assessments all year long, which have now begun to wrap up. We just conducted our third annual “Family Testing Night” that was very well attended. That gave us a wonderful opportunity to share with parents and guardians some of the key concepts that students will be facing on their OAA’s, also providing them materials to review and practice over Spring Break.
Our OAA dates are as follows. The whole building will take the Reading test on Tuesday April 24^th and the Math test will be on Thursday April 26^th, then our 5^th grade only will be taking the Science test on Tuesday May 1^st. All of the students have put in countless hours of preparation throughout the school year to be successful this year and maintain Coventry’s “Excellent” rating by the Ohio Department of Education.
