Wednesday, May 21 was an exciting day at Erwine. COSI on Wheels came and put on an all-school assembly where we took a trip to our Solar System. We experienced a rocket launch and then toured the different planets, learning about different characteristics of each. After the assembly, we had the chance to become astronomers ourselves by participating in many different hands-on activities. We learned about constellations, Remotely Operated Vehicles, gravity differences on different planets and visited several other interactive stations. Overall, it was a fun and highly educational day with COSI on Wheels!
