Cans for Character
Coventry’s 2nd annual district wide canned food drive will run from November 1st through December 1st. Each building will be collecting cans that will be distributed to needy families in Coventry. Our district goal is to collect at least 10,000 cans.
Each grade level group/homeroom has a chance to win a donut and juice party for the most cans brought in.
On Friday, November 9th we will have a Principals Challenge. This will be a challenge between Mr. Schenz and Mr. Bryan for the elementary level and Mrs. Norris and Mrs. McDonald for the secondary school level. The losing building for the amount cans brought in that day will have that building’s principal do something of the other principals choosing for the day. Let’s see how creative our principals can get.
On Wednesday, November 21st we will have an OSU vs. Michigan Challenge. Cans will be kept in piles by teams that the donators are cheering for. We will see which team has more fans, OSU or MI.
