Join us for the Kent State Popcorn Challenge! This activity is part of a National Science Foundation grant investigating how to engage children (ages 7-10) and their families in STEM learning using cooking. Participating families will pop popcorn two times within the same week. The first activity should take 20-30 minutes and the second takes about 10-15 minutes. The activities include a discussion of science concepts such as designing a good experiment. Several families have already participated, have enjoyed the activities, and some yummy popcorn!
