Ohio's Sunshine Law - Ohio's Public Records and Open Meeting laws are commonly known as "Sunshine Laws."
You can find more information regarding these regulations on the Ohio Attorney General's website at: https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/Legal/Sunshine-Laws...

WHAT IS A PUBLIC RECORD?
Records that document the work of the district are public, unless they are exempt by law from disclosure. Public records laws apply to records in any format, including those that exist on paper, electronically (e.g., email), or any other media.

MAKING RECORDS ACCESSIBLE:
Public records are available for inspection during regular business hours. Records will be provided promptly for inspection, and copies will be made available within a reasonable period of time.

PROCESSING REQUESTS:
It is the goal of the district that records requests are acknowledged in writing within one business day of the received request.  In addition, the district strives to satisfy the requests within three business days.  Although, there is no required form or process for submitting a public records request, it is helpful if the requestor completes the district's public records request form and follows the steps outlined below.

STEPS TO REQUEST RECORDS:
1. Complete the Public Records Request form, found here:  CLSD Public Records Request Form.pdf
2. Email completed form to the district treasurer using the following email address:  Lisa Blough, Treasurer
3. You will receive notice that your request was received.  If you do not receive a response within 24 hours this indicates your request was not received by the office.
4. Records will be provided in a timely manner.
 * Please note: The exact amount of time needed to provide a record depends on the amount & type of information requested.
